Sometimes you deliberately or accidentally make changes in Normal template which effects every new word document. So if you want to reset the Normal Template; here is the easiest way.
Navigate to the file Normal.dotm using following path.
MS OFFICE 2007 / 2010 / 2013
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates(Based on Windows7)
- Just delete the Normal.dotm file. Make sure that Ms Word (Office) is not open at the time of deletion.
- After deletion; reopen MS Word and you will see the default template has been restore.
